Remote presentations
You can conduct remote meetings and presentations from within Live Presentations. While the intent is not to replaces specialized online meeting applications such as Webex, Live Presentations provides you with an easy way to have remote meetings over shared documents.
To conduct a remote meeting, share your presentation with your invitees (you can assign read-only rights if you so choose). Open the document and wait for your invitees to come online (you can see who is online by clicking on the "Users" button on the bottom.
Once your invitees have opened the document, click on the "Start remote meeting" button under the "View" menu on the top menu. Your invitees will be prompted to join you in a remote meeting.
From here, start a slideshow like you normally do - all your invitees will see the exact same slide that you are seeing and their presentations will progress in exactly the same manner as yours. You can also annotate the presentation and all your markups will be seen by the other online users. One unique aspect of Live Presentations is that all animations are preserved, so your invitees will see the presentation in full fidelity.
The other advantage of this model is that you can easily switch back to normal editing mode and collaboratively make changes to your presentation content.
