Live Spreadsheets is available in two forms - a service that runs in your browser and a software version that runs on your desktop. Both versions offer the same features and capabilities - the only difference is that the desktop version allows you to work even when you are offline and do not have internet connectivity.

If you experience an issue, the easiest fix is to press your browser's Refresh button and log into Live Spreadsheets again. This often solves whatever problem you are seeing.
