Macros are a very useful feature of Live Spreadsheets, especially if you find yourself constantly repeating the same tasks on different cells, or worksheets.

They enable you to record the repetitive actions and then repeat the actions at the click of a button.

Like in Microsoft Excel, you can create a macro by recording a series of actions and playing it back.

Please note that we do not support VBA macros embedded within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets that you upload - however, if any imported spreadsheet contains VBA macros, they are not dropped and will be present as in the original when you export the document back to Microsoft Excel formats.
